Alternative Operations

Alternative operations can be entered for both ‘Required Materials / Services’ and for the ‘Routing’ lines. This allows alternative methods of completing the given stage to be entered for different quantities and work centres. To add an alternative routing, simply double click the stage number for the line item. This will load the relevant alternative operations popup ready for the alternative operations to be entered. Set the ‘Eco Qty Low’ and ‘Eco Qty High’ fields to reflect the relevant alternative operation quantity range. If an alternative operation exists for a given line, the colour of the line changes to indicate this.

Notes:

· Total cost prices will be calculated using the alternative operation provided the required manufacture Qty falls within one of the alternative operation lines. This is also reflected if using batch quantities.
